POLICY TERMS & CONDITIONS
DUNIA GHABOUR STUDIO IS AN EXCLUSIVE ATELIER OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR TREATMENTS, DETAILED, ARTISTIC, SEMI-INVASIVE SERVICES, WE KINDLY REQUEST THAT YOU RESPECT OUR NO GUEST POLICY. ONLY THOSE WITH APPOINTMENTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO.
We are by-appointment only. Please book online or call us at 917-291-0588. We require a credit card number to hold an appointment. The card will be charged a non-refundable deposit to hold you date and time. The deposit fee is credit toward your service.
Each treatment includes a Touch-Up Perfecting Session which is part of the treatment cost. The Perfecting Session must be completed within two months of the original treatment (we recommend that you schedule your Perfecting Session before you leave the studio). For no-shows/ cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled Perfecting Session appointment, we charge a $100 fee to reschedule the Perfecting Session. Please note, any touch-up session booked after 2 months following your initial appointment will be at the customary annual touch-up rate.
Timing for Touch-Up sessions are calculated from the date of the last treatment (whether it is a Perfecting Session or another Touch-Up). For example, if you had your treatment on January 1st, and your complimentary Perfecting Session on March 1st, then the six-month period for a Touch-up ends on September 1st. Please note that we only offer Touch-Ups to work done in our salon (new clients are not eligible for Touch-Up pricing). Client with oily skin can have touch up as soon as 6-8 months. Clients with dry to combine skin are recommended to do a yearly touch-up.
We ask that you please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time to fill out paperwork and get settled in. Please familiarize yourself with our location HERE. We have a strict no-tolerance policy for late arrivals. Unfortunately WE CAN NOT AND WILL NOT RUSH PERFECTION! To avoid unfair delays to clients, if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment it will be necessary to reschedule. Unfortunately exceptions will not be made regardless of unforeseen circumstances that may arise which could force you to postpone/reschedule your procedure, please understand that such changes affect not only the artist, but other clients as well. Late arrivals will be cancelled and deposits may be forfeited. An additional $100 deposit will be required to reschedule your appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please let us know 72 hours before your scheduled appointment. All No-shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment will automatically forfeit deposits made. If you choose to cancel your appointment, you will automatically forfeit your deposit. Additional deposits will be required to reschedule your appointment if you give less than 72 hours' notice. For consultations the penalty is $50
NO CALL/NO SHOW:
If you are a N0-CALL or NO-SHOW you will be charged 50% of the original cost of the treatment.
In the event you would like to reschedule your appointment, you may do so directly on the website or by giving us a call, any time up to 72 hours (3 days) before your scheduled appointment.
Appointments occurring within the next 72 hours may not be rescheduled. If you need to cancel your appointment within 72 hours, your deposit will not be refunded. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
You will receive a text and or a email reminder a couple of days prior to your appointment. Out of respect for our artists and their time, we kindly ask that you confirm your appointment a minimum of 72 hours in advance.
NO GUESTS PLEASE:
Due to the nature of our detailed, semi-invasive services, we kindly request that you arrive unaccompanied to your appointment. We very strictly do not allow friends, boyfriends, hubby, children, and/or pets to accompany you into the studio. There are many coffee shops, restaurants and bars in our neighborhood, if your guest(s) would like to wait close by for you to complete your appointment.
NO CHILDREN UNDER 18:
Children are not allowed in the studio. If you show up to your appointment with children we will have to kindly ask you to reschedule which at that time you will need to make another deposit for your new appointment.
A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is due immediately upon booking to secure service appointments. Deposits will be charged to the credit card you provided to Dunia Ghabour Brow Design upon booking your online reservation. This deposit is to ensure that you are serious about booking your MICROBLADING/COSMETIC TATOO TREATMENT appointment and will be deducted from the total cost of your initial session. The Remaining balance can be paid by cash, credit card, Zelle or Venmo.
Balance is due the day of your procedure. We accept Cash, Credit Card, Zelle or Venmo as forms of payment. Please be prepared to pay the total amount with either of these methods during your appointment.
COMPLIMENTARY ENHANCEMENT SESSIONS:
New clients receive two sessions. The second session, called the Touch-Up Perfecting Session is complimentary. This must be scheduled no sooner than 6 weeks and no later than 8 weeks following your first session. If your Enhancement Session is scheduled after 8 weeks, it is no longer complementary and will incur an additional charge (Any Touch-Up Session booked after 8 weeks following your initial appointment will be at the customary annual touch-up rate). Perfecting Sessions are required to complete the treatment and is recommended for the best results. Additional Touch-Up appointments may be needed for oily, problematic skin, those with dark pigmented skin and people who do not follow after care instructions properly (a fee of $80 will be require).
FUTURE TOUCH UPS FOR RETURN CLIENTS:
If you are a return client and you need to schedule your yearly touch up appointment, you can book online or call our concierge directly at 917-291-0588.
We very rarely have cancellations or rescheduled appointments, however please contact us directly by phone if you would like to be added to the waitlist.
PRE CARE & AFTER CARE:
We also ask if you cannot fulfill the proper pre and post-care instructions we recommend that you please reschedule or postpone your appointment 72 hours before your appointment. Pre-care and Pos-care healing period is a very serious part of your process, we want to ensure that your treatment is perfect & flawless for you. Improper preparation and care will lead to pore results that we cannot fix!
EXISTING BROW TATTOOS: We are extremely selective when working over existing tattoos and other tattoo artists' work. If you have had your eyebrows previously tattooed, we request that you email us clear photos of your brows for approval to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to your appointment.
BROW TATTOO CORRECTION or LIGHTENING SESSION: Please send us a clear picture of your brows to email@example.com including date of your last brow tattoo or permanent makeup service, how many sessions you've received, business name and artist name who performed your service.
Tips usually average 10-20% of treatment price. These can be given in cash or charged to a credit card. All tips are much appreciated and go directly to your specialist!
IMPORTANT FOR ALL CLIENTS:
Microblading and all permanent cosmetics are considered a multiple-step appointment process.It is required to have your follow-up up appointment within 6-8 weeks after your original procedure. If you fail to come in for your Touch-Up Perfecting Session, or cancel before 72 hours you understand you will be require to pay an additional $100. If you reschedule before 2 weeks we may be able to accommodate at no additional cost. After that will be at the customary annual touch-up rate. Healed results will vary with each individual client. NO guarantees will be made. Additional sessions (at an additional charge) may be required to obtain optimal desired results depending on skin type and lifestyle. Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, many factors can result in a less than desired outcome as each client will heal differently.
HEALING: In order for your permanent makeup to heal properly and look best) please follow all Pre & Post Care Instructions! These instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessing bleeding during the procedure can dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results.
THINGS TO AVOID AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE IS CONCLUDED TO PREVENT FADING:
DO NOT apply any anti-acne, anti-aging or facial products containing Alpha Hydroxyls (AHA’s), Retin-A, Salicylic, Lactic or Glycolic Acids, Benzoyl Peroxide, Proactiv, lightening creams (skin bleaching creams) such as hydroquinone to the eyebrows or permanent makeup area.
HOW TO KEEP YOUR MICROBLADING BROWS OR PERMANENT MAKEUP LOOKING SHARP:
∙Apply Sunscreen SPF35 or Higher Daily Directly on top of your Cosmetic Tattoo to AID the longevity of the treatment.
∙Yearly Touch-up is recommended to keep your cosmetic tattoo looking best.
∙DO NOT apply products containing Alpha Hydroxyls (AHA’s), Retin-A, Salicylic, Lactic or Glycolic Acids, Benzoyl Peroxide, Proactiv, and bleaching/lightening creams) onto the eyebrows.
∙If you are planning a chemical peel, laser procedure or an MRI scan, please inform the technician of your permanent cosmetics.
All treatments and products are non-refundable.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS & LIMITATIONS
We may require doctor’s permission to perform treatments on clients with certain pre-existing conditions. We do not perform treatments on women who are pregnant or nursing, or on anyone who is under the age of 18.
Children are not allowed in the studio.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:
DUNIA GHABOUR have the right to refuse service and training to anyone! If you fail to abide by our policies, pre and post care.
