• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment, credited toward your final balance. Remaining balances are due at the time of your appointment. Deposits are non-transferable. You may reschedule once with at least 7 days notice.

CLIENTS WITH PREVIOUS WORK

(CONVERSION CLIENTS & COVER-UPS) 

​

If you have previous cosmetic tattoo work such as microblading, powder brows, nano brows, lip blushing or eyeliner, it will be considered a cover-up and a new treatment.

 

To ensure successful treatment, a neutralization process is required to balance the existing pigment before we can begin. This is due to the pigment science behind color compatibility and undertones. Without this step, desired results cannot be achieved.  

Please submit clear photos of the area before booking to avoid being turned away.

ARRIVAL & LATE POLICY

​

Punctuality is essential to ensure every client receives their full appointment time and the highest level of service. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time; arriving 15 minutes early is not necessary.

 

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their appointment and deposit. A 50% service charge will apply, and a new deposit will be required to reschedule.

 

This policy allows us to maintain a smooth schedule and provide the same level of care and attention to every client.

CHILDREN & PHOTO ID

​

Children under 18 are not permitted in the studio for safety and comfort reasons. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID to your appointment.

PMU CONSULTATION

​

As a courtesy, if you decide to proceed with your PMU treatment within 30 days of your consultation, we will apply your consultation fee as a credit toward your procedure.  

MOBILE DEVICE ETIQUETTE

​

We kindly request that all mobile phones and electronic devices remain on silent during treatments.

ENHANCEMENT SESSION

​

If your skin type (e.g., oily or pigmented) requires additional care or if aftercare instructions weren’t followed, an enhancement session may be needed. This can be scheduled 6 weeks after your top-up and no later than 16 weeks. This session will incur an extra fee.

​

This session is intended to touch-up refine and perfect the original work created during your last appointment. We will only adjust the areas originally designed and treated that require a color touch-up or minor refinement. Any requests to modify or add areas outside of the original design will be considered a new treatment and will be charged accordingly.

Please remember to follow pre-care and aftercare instructions and allow proper time in your schedule to complete this session. This appoinemtn follows the same healing process as your initial procedure, and the post-care cycle must be completed to achieve the best possible healed results.

CORRECTIONS & LIGHTENING OF PREVIOUS WORK

  

For clients seeking corrections or lightening of work done at another studio, prior approval is required. Submit a clear face photo for evaluation to 203-444-6303 or email duniaghabour@gmail.com.

CONTRAINDICATIONS & LIMITATIONS

  

We cannot perform treatments on clients with the following conditions:  

- Pregnant or nursing  

- Diabetic  

- Undergoing chemotherapy (requires a physician's note)  

- Viral infections or diseases  

- Botox within 3 weeks of appointment  

- Organ transplants  

- Epilepsy  

- Cold or flu-like symptoms  

- Used Accutane in the past 6 months  

 

We may require a doctor's permission for clients with certain pre-existing conditions.

HEALED RESULTS & GUARANTEES

    

Healed results vary based on skin type, adherence to pre-care and aftercare, and individual factors. While we strive to exceed expectations, Dunia Ghabour Permanent Makeup Studio does not offer guarantees. Additional touch-ups may be necessary and will be charged at standard rates.

PRICING POLICY

 

Prices are subject to change at any time. However, once your appointment has been secured and your deposit has been received, your appointment will be honored at the rate confirmed at the time of booking.​

GRATUITIES

 

Gratuities are appreciated. The average range is between 18-25%, and they can be added to your credit card payment or given in cash.

PRECARE INSTRUCTIONS & REMINDERS

 

You will receive email or text message confirmations and reminders, including detailed pre-care instructions, location details, parking information, and our studio policy. Please confirm your appointment and follow these instructions in advance, as a courtesy to our clients, artists, and their time.

WAITLIST & AFTER-HOURS APPOINTMENTS

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY  

 

• 7 Days’ Notice: A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for any changes. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Appointments may be rescheduled once.

 

• Within 7 Days: Changes made with less than 7 days’ notice require a 50% service fee plus a new deposit to reschedule.

 

• Same-Day Changes / No-Shows: Appointments canceled, changed within 24 hours, or missed without notice are subject to a 100% service charge.

 

• Multiple Changes: Repeated cancellations or rescheduling requests may result in a $300 booking fee or restrictions on future appointments.

GUEST POLICY

To maintain our studio’s exclusive atmosphere, only clients are permitted in the procedure room. Guests may wait in our reception area or explore nearby Greenwich Avenue.

FOLLOW-UP SESSION

- Perfecting Session -

Many clients achieve beautiful healed results after their initial appointment and do not require a follow-up when proper pre-care and aftercare instructions are followed.

 

We include one complimentary follow-up session with your initial procedure, as long as it is completed within the recommended 6–12 week timeframe after your appointment.

​

Appointments requested after 12 weeks are considered a Yearly Color Boost and are no longer eligible as a complimentary enhancement session.

​

This session is intended to touch-up refine and perfect the original work created during your first appointment. We will only adjust the areas originally designed and treated that require a color touch-up or minor refinement. Any requests to modify or add areas outside of the original design will be considered a new treatment and will be charged accordingly.

If refinements are desired, please remember to follow pre-care and aftercare instructions and allow proper time in your schedule to complete this session. Please note that this one-time complimentary follow-up session is scheduled on the same day as your initial appointment. If it is not scheduled at that time, the client is responsible for contacting the studio at 203-444-6303 to arrange the follow-up appointment within the recommended timeframe.

PRE-CARE & AFTERCARE

Strictly following our pre-care and aftercare instructions is essential for optimal results. If not followed, we cannot guarantee the outcome, and rescheduling may be necessary.

YEARLY COLOR BOOST

​

We recommend an annual color boost for long-lasting results. Clients with oily skin may need a boost as early as 6 months, while those with normal to dry skin should plan for yearly touch-ups.  

We only perform yearly color boosts for work originally done at our studio within 16 months of your last treatment.

​

This session is intended to boost, refine and perfect the original work created during your initial/last appointment.

 

Any requests to modify or add areas outside of the original design will be considered a new treatment and will be charged accordingly.

Yearly Color Boost Policy

 

Our Yearly Color Boost rates are exclusively offered to clients who originally received their initial treatment with us. This maintenance pricing applies only to existing clients, with no exceptions.

PERMANENT MAKEUP PROCESS

  

Permanent makeup is a multi-step process designed to achieve beautiful, healed results. The initial procedure creates the foundation, and we offer one complimentary enhancement session between 6–12 weeks after your appointment if refinements are desired.

​

Most clients only require minor touch-ups during this session, such as small adjustments or additional color.

 

However, a further enhancement session may occasionally be needed depending on individual skin type, healing, pigment retention, or if proper pre-care and aftercare instructions were not followed. Any additional sessions beyond the complimentary enhancement session will be subject to the applicable service fee.

LONG-TERM CARE

 

To maintain the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo, apply sunscreen with SPF 40 or higher daily, directly on top of your tattoo. A yearly touch-up is recommended to keep your tattoo looking its best. Avoid applying products containing Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (AHA), Retin-A, Salicylic, Lactic or Glycolic Acids, Benzoyl Peroxide, Proactiv, or bleaching/lightening creams to the treated area. If you plan on undergoing a chemical peel, laser procedure, or MRI scan, inform your technician that you have permanent cosmetics.

Dunia Ghabour Beauty Atelier and Permanent Makeup Studio reserves the right to refuse service and training to anyone who fails to follow our policies, pre-care, or post-care instructions.
