CLIENTS WITH PREVIOUS WORK

(CONVERSION CLIENTS & COVER-UPS)

If you have previous cosmetic tattoo work such as microblading, powder brows, nano brows, lip blushing or eyeliner, it will be considered a cover-up and a new treatment.

 

To ensure successful treatment, a neutralization process is required to balance the existing pigment before we can begin. This is due to the pigment science behind color compatibility and undertones. Without this step, desired results cannot be achieved.  

Please submit clear photos of the area before booking to avoid being turned away.

ARRIVAL & LATE POLICY

​

Punctuality is essential to ensure every client receives their full appointment time and the highest level of service. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time; arriving 15 minutes early is not necessary.

 

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their appointment and deposit. A 50% service charge will apply, and a new deposit will be required to reschedule.

 

This policy allows us to maintain a smooth schedule and provide the same level of care and attention to every client.

CHILDREN & PHOTO ID

Children under 18 are not permitted in the studio for safety and comfort reasons. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID to your appointment.

PMU CONSULTATION

​

As a courtesy, if you decide to proceed with your PMU treatment within 30 days of your consultation, we will apply your consultation fee as a credit toward your procedure final balance. A deposit will be required to book your treatment.

PRE-CARE & AFTERCARE

Strictly following our pre-care and aftercare instructions is essential for optimal results.

If the required pre-care instructions have not been followed and we determine that it is not safe or appropriate to proceed, your appointment may need to be canceled or rescheduled.

 

In this circumstance, a new deposit will be required to reserve another appointment.

FOLLOW-UP SESSION

- Perfecting Session -

Many clients achieve beautiful healed results after their initial appointment and do not require a follow-up when proper pre-care and aftercare instructions are followed.

 

We include one complimentary follow-up session with your initial procedure, as long as it is completed within the recommended 6–12 week timeframe after your appointment.

​

Appointments requested after 12 weeks are considered a Yearly Color Boost and are no longer eligible as a complimentary enhancement session.

​

This session is intended to touch-up refine and perfect the original work created during your first appointment. We will only adjust the areas originally designed and treated that require a color touch-up or minor refinement. Any requests to modify or add areas outside of the original design will be considered a new treatment and will be charged accordingly.

 

If refinements are desired, please remember to follow pre-care and aftercare instructions and allow proper time in your schedule to complete this session. This appoinemtn follows the same healing process as your initial procedure, and the post-care cycle must be completed to achieve the best possible healed results.

Please note that this one-time complimentary follow-up session is scheduled on the same day as your initial appointment. If it is not scheduled at that time, the client is responsible for contacting the studio at 203-444-6303 to arrange the follow-up appointment within the recommended timeframe.

YEARLY COLOR BOOST

​

We recommend an annual color boost for long-lasting results. Clients with oily skin may need a boost as early as 6 months, while those with normal to dry skin should plan for yearly touch-ups.  

We only perform yearly color boosts for work originally done at our studio within 16 months of your last treatment.

​

This session is intended to boost, refine and perfect the original work created during your initial/last appointment.

 

Any requests to modify or add areas outside of the original design will be considered a new treatment and will be charged accordingly.

 

Please remember to follow pre-care and aftercare instructions and allow proper time in your schedule to complete this session. This appointmemt follows the same healing process as your initial procedure, and the post-care cycle must be completed to achieve the best possible healed results.

Yearly Color Boost Policy

 

Our Yearly Color Boost rates are exclusively offered to clients who originally received their initial treatment with us. This maintenance pricing applies only to existing clients, with no exceptions.

LONG-TERM CARE

 

To maintain the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo, apply sunscreen with SPF 40 or higher daily, directly on top of your tattoo. A yearly touch-up is recommended to keep your tattoo looking its best. Avoid applying products containing Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (AHA), Retin-A, Salicylic, Lactic or Glycolic Acids, Benzoyl Peroxide, Proactiv, or bleaching/lightening creams to the treated area. If you plan on undergoing a chemical peel, laser procedure, or MRI scan, inform your technician that you have permanent cosmetics.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY  

​

Because permanent makeup treatments require preparation from both the artist and the client, a significant amount of time is reserved exclusively for each appointment.

 

A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling, as appointments released with limited notice may not allow enough preparation time for another client to fill that reservation.

 

The following policies apply:

 

• A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required to make changes to your appointment.

​

• Deposits are non-refundable.

​

• One reschedule is permitted under the original deposit when proper notice is provided.

​

• Changes made within 7 days of the appointment may result in a 50% charge of the scheduled service price, and an additional deposit may be required to reserve a new appointment.

​

• Cancellations, rescheduling requests, or no-shows within 24 hours or on the same day may result in a charge of 100% of the scheduled service price.

​

• Repeated cancellations or rescheduling requests may require a new deposit or may result in future appointment requests being declined.

GUEST POLICY

​

To maintain our studio’s exclusive atmosphere, only clients are permitted in the procedure room. Guests may wait in our reception area or explore nearby Greenwich Avenue.

Permanent makeup should not look like heavy or dramatic makeup sitting on the skin. The goal is a subtle, effortless enhancement that blends naturally with your features.

Permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing performed on living skin. Because every person heals and retains pigment differently, results naturally vary from client to client.

 

Despite the name, modern permanent makeup is considered semi-permanent. Pigments are designed to gradually soften and fade over time, allowing your results to evolve naturally with your features, lifestyle, age, and personal preferences.

 

Whether we are treating brows, lips, the lash line, face, or other body areas, our intention is to create softness, definition, balance, and subtle structure while maintaining a natural appearance.

 

Permanent makeup may be a multi-step process designed to achieve beautiful, healed results. The initial procedure creates the foundation, and we include one complimentary Perfecting Session between 6–12 weeks after your appointment if minor refinements are desired or appropriate.

 

Many clients are happy with the results of their initial session. The complimentary follow-up is available for small adjustments, refinement, or additional color if needed.

 

In rare cases, an additional Enhancement Session may be appropriate depending on individual skin type, healing response, pigment retention, or if pre-care and aftercare instructions were not fully followed.

 

Any session beyond the complimentary Perfecting Session is not complimentary and will be subject to the applicable service fee.

BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE

 

Before we begin your procedure, you will have time to use the restroom during the preparation period between your consultation, paperwork, and treatment.

 

We recommend avoiding excessive fluids immediately beforehand, as frequent restroom breaks can interrupt the treatment process.

 

Topical numbing agents have a limited working period, so your appointment is carefully structured to make the most effective use of that time.

ENHANCEMENT SESSION

​

After your treatment has fully healed, if you feel your skin has retained less pigment than expected, an additional Enhancement Session may be considered.

 

Permanent makeup is performed on living skin, and every client heals and retains pigment differently. Our approach is intentionally soft and refined, with the goal of enhancing your natural features rather than creating an overly saturated or heavy result. For this reason, we do not recommend excessive pigment implantation simply to create a darker appearance.

 

If additional pigment or minor refinement is appropriate once healing is complete, an Enhancement Session may be scheduled.

 

This session is intended to touch up, refine, and perfect the original work created during your previous appointment. Adjustments are limited to the areas originally designed and treated that may require additional color or minor refinement. Any request to change the original design or add new areas will be considered a new treatment and charged accordingly.

 

The Enhancement Session may be scheduled no sooner than 6 weeks after your Perfecting Session and no later than 16 weeks. After the 16-week window, the appointment will no longer qualify as an Enhancement Session and will be scheduled at the studio’s applicable Color Boost or Maintenance rate.

 

Please note that the Enhancement Session is not complimentary and will be charged according to the studio’s current Enhancement Session rate.

 

The same pre-care and aftercare requirements apply. Please plan accordingly, as the treated area will go through the same healing process and post-care cycle as your previous treatment.

CORRECTIONS & LIGHTENING OF PREVIOUS WORK

  

For clients seeking corrections or lightening of work done at another studio, prior approval is required. Submit a clear face photo for evaluation to 203-444-6303 or email duniaghabour@gmail.com.

CONTRAINDICATIONS & LIMITATIONS

  

We cannot perform treatments on clients with the following conditions:  

- Pregnant or nursing  

- Diabetic  

- Undergoing chemotherapy (requires a physician's note)  

- Viral infections or diseases  

- Botox within 3 weeks of appointment  

- Organ transplants  

- Epilepsy  

- Cold or flu-like symptoms  

- Used Accutane in the past 6 months  

 

We may require a doctor's permission for clients with certain pre-existing conditions.

Following all applicable pre-care instructions before your treatment and aftercare instructions during the healing process is essential, as both play an important role in healing, pigment retention, and the quality of your final result.

 

Additional sessions may occasionally be necessary. Any session outside of the complimentary Perfecting Session follow-up will be charged according to the studio’s current rates.
