POLICY TERMS & CONDITIONS

DUNIA GHABOUR ESTHÉTIQUE IS AN EXCLUSIVE ATELIER OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR TREATMENTS, DETAILED, ARTISTIC, SEMI-INVASIVE SERVICES, WE KINDLY REQUEST THAT YOU RESPECT OUR NO GUEST POLICY, TERMS AND CONDITIONS. ONLY THOSE WITH APPOINTMENTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO.

BOOKING: 

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.  

This deposit is transferable to reschedule your appointment 1 time so long as I am given a minimum of 7 days notice.  It is NOT transferable to another person.  If you choose to cancel your appointment at any time, the deposit is forfeited.

APPOINTMENT REMINDER:

You will receive appointment confirmations and reminders including pre-care instructions, location, where to park and our studio policy. Out of respect for our artists and their time, we kindly ask that you confirm and follow these instructions in advance.

 

CANCELLATIONS: 

We request 7 days notice for cancellations however the deposit is non-refundable.

If you give us less than 7 days you will automatically forfeit your deposit/payment made. An additional deposit will be required to reschedule another appointment.  Same day cancellation will be consider no-show and client will be charged 50% of the original cost of the treatment. If cancelling or rescheduling of the same appointment occurs more than once, client will be subjected to cancellation fees or declining of all future appointment requests. 

LATENESS: 

We ask that you please arrive on time to avoid unfair delays to clients . We have a strict no-tolerance policy for late arrivals. Clients who arrive over 15 minutes late may result in a deposit forfeit and cancellation of your appointment. An additional  deposit  will be required to reschedule your appointment. Unfortunately exceptions will not be made regardless of unforeseen circumstances that may arise. Please understand that such changes affect not only the artist, but other clients as well. Familiarize yourself with our location prior to your appoitment.

 

NO SHOW:

Client will be charged 50% of the original cost of the treatment. We do not provide refunds for canceled or missed appointments.

 

RE-SCHEDULING: 

Clients must provide at least 7 days notice to reschedule their appointment. The deposit will be transferred to the new appointment.  Please call us directly at 917-291-0588. If cancelling or rescheduling of the same appointment occurs more than once, it will be treated as same day cancelling or missed appointment. Client will be subjected to cancellation fees or declining of all future appointment requests. 

 

NO GUESTS PLEASE:
Due to the nature of our detailed, semi-invasive services, we kindly request that you arrive unaccompanied to your appointment.  There are many coffee shops, restaurants and bars in our neighborhood, if your guest(s) would like to wait close by for you to complete your appointment.

 

NO CHILDREN UNDER 18: 

Children are not allowed in the studio. If you show up to your appointment with children or guests we will have to kindly ask you to reschedule.

ALL DEPOSITS: 
Deposit is due immediately upon booking to secure appointment. Deposits will be charged to the credit card you provided upon booking your online reservation. This deposit is to ensure that you are serious about booking your services.  Deposit will be deducted from the total cost and remaining balance can be paid by cash, credit card, Zelle or Venmo. Credit cards incur a 4.5% tax for service and 8.875% for products.


BALANCE: 

Balance is due the day of your procedure. We accept Cash, Credit Card, Zelle or Venmo as forms of payment. Please be prepared to pay the total amount with either of these methods during your appointment. Credit cards incurs 4.5% for services and 8.875% for products.


TOP UP SESSION:
We offer a TOP-UP session at not additional cost as long is concluded  6 weeks after initial appointment and no later than 8 weeks following your first session.  If your TOP-UP session is scheduled after 8 weeks, it is no longer complimentary and will incur an additional charge at the customary YEARLY COLOR BOOST rate. 

 

ENHANCEMENT SESSION:

Enhancement session may be needed for clients with oily, dark pigmented skin and those who were unable to properly follow aftercare instructions. This can be scheduled 6 weeks after your top-up session. Enhancement session fee will be applied. Book Here


YEARLY COLOR BOOST FOR RETURN CLIENTS:

Timing for Color Boost session is calculated from the date of the last treatment. Client with oily skin can have color boost as soon as 6 months and clients with dry to combine skin are recommended to do yearly color boost. Please note that we only offer color boost to work done in our salon. All new clients with pre existing work done must initiate with a full treatment session, select CORRECTION WORK/PREVIOUS WORK in the booking menu. You must call and email us photos of your existing treatment prior to booking a service.

WAITLIST:
We rarely have cancellations or rescheduled appointments, however please contact us directly by phone at 917-291-0588 if you would like to be added to the waitlist.

 

PRE CARE & AFTER CARE:

Client must follow pre-care and after-care instruction before undergo a treatment. These steps are crucial, it is very important to follow these instructions to achieve best healed results. Results will vary from client-to-client and we can not guarantee your results. If you cannot fulfill the proper pre-care and post-care instructions, plan your appointment for a later date. Improper preparation and care will lead to poor results that we cannot fix and you will be subjected to cancellation fees or declining of all future appointment requests.


CLIENTS WITH PRE  EXISTING WORK FROM OTHER STUDIO/ARTISTS:

We are extremely selective when working over existing tattoos from other tattoo artists.  If you have had permanent makeup tattooed done somewhere else, we request that you email us clear photos of your brows for approval to duniaghabour@gmail.com prior to booking. After approval, you can book your services here PRE EXISTING WORK FROM OTHER ARTIST

 

BROW TATTOO CORRECTION or LIGHTENING SESSION:

Please send us a clear picture of your brows to duniaghabour@gmail.com including date of your last brow tattoo or permanent makeup service, how many sessions you've received, business name and artist name who performed your service.


GRATUITIES:
Tips usually average 10-20% of treatment price. These can be given in cash or charged to a credit card. All tips are much appreciated and go directly to your specialist!


ALL PERMANENT MAKEUP TREATMENTS: 
All permanent cosmetics treatments are considered a 2-step appointment process. It is required to have your TOP-UP appointment within 6-8 weeks after your original procedure in order to be complimentary. If you fail to come in for your TOP-UP Session, or cancel with less than 7 days, understand that you will be require to pay an additional fee. If you reschedule before 8 weeks we may be able to accommodate at no additional cost as long as you contact at least 7 days prior to your appointment. After that will be at the customary YEARLY COLOR BOOST rate. 

 

HEALED RESULTS:

In order for your permanent makeup to heal properly and look best, please follow all Pre-care  & Post-Care Instructions! These instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessing bleeding during the procedure can dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results. 

 

GUARANTEES:

Dunia Ghabour offers NO GUARANTEE for micropigmenation results.

  • Individual results will vary from client to client.

  • Pre-care and Aftercare of your micropigmentation and your skin type will directly contribute to your final results.

  • Some may require additional touch ups to achieve their desired results.

  • Regular touch up pricing will apply.  

 

LONG TERM CARE:

  • Apply Sunscreen SPF35 or Higher  Daily Directly on top of your Cosmetic Tattoo to AID the longevity of the treatment.

  • Yearly Touch-up is recommended to keep your cosmetic tattoo looking best. 

  • DO NOT apply products containing Alpha Hydroxyls (AHA’s), Retin-A, Salicylic, Lactic or Glycolic Acids, Benzoyl Peroxide, Proactiv, and bleaching/lightening creams) onto the eyebrows.

  • If you are planning a chemical peel, laser procedure or an MRI scan, please inform the technician of your permanent cosmetics.

NO REFUNDS/NO EXCHANGE/NO TRANSFERABLE

All treatments, services and products are non-refundable, no exchangeable and no transferable. Specially if services or treatments has been initiated. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

 

CONTRA-INDICATIONS & LIMITATIONS

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Diabetic

  • Undergoing Chemotherapy (Consult with you doctor- I require a physicians note)

  • Viral infections (diseases)

  • Had Botox within a 3 week period of appointment

  • Had an organ transplant

  • Epilepsy

  • Sick with a cold or flu-like virus

  • Used Accutane in the last 6 months 

We may require doctor’s permission to perform treatments on clients with certain pre-existing conditions. 

 

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE: 

If you fail to abide by our policies, pre-care and post-care, DUNIA GHABOUR have the right to refuse service and training to anyone.
