Microblading and Feather Light Brows are best suited for normal to dry skin types and for those who already have natural brow hair but need minimal filling in sparse areas.This technique is ideal when the goal is to softly restore what is missing while keeping the brows looking very natural and light.For oily skin, larger pores, or more textured skin, techniques such as Nano Brows, Hybrid Brows, or Powder Brows may be better suited.The best technique is always selected based on skin type, existing brow hair, and desired result.

Heavy sweating will cause the hair strokes to blur out and details to be lost. ​ 🚫 DON’T have dirt or dust to have contact with your eyebrows and you must avoid gardening for the next 10 days. ​ 🚫 DON’T eat spicy hot foods or drink hot fluids for the next 10 days to prevent sweating. This will push the pigment out. ​ 🚫 DON’T apply any makeup or cosmetics on your brows for 14 days. This will interfere the healing and color of your tattoo. ​ 🚫 DON’T pick/scratch your brows. Allow the scabs/peeled skin to fall off naturally. Picking may lead to loss of pigment and or scarring. ​ 🚫 DON’T use Vaseline, Neosporin or other petroleum based on your brows while healing. PEELING PHASE REFERENCE: ​ ​ ​ The photos provide a zoomed-out view of healing eyebrows, where your can observe very little scabbing falling out. It is crucial to let peeling or scabbing naturally fall out without interfering, scratching, or removing it. ​ ​ WHAT TO EXPECT DAY BY DAY?: Immediately after procedure eyebrow color will look more intense. You may love it, or you may feel like it’s a bit much – either way, that’s not the true shade the pigment will have. Your brows will look 30 - 40% lighter once the 6 weeks have passed and you will be back at the studio for your Top-Up Session. BE VERY PATIENT AND TRUST THE PROCESS. Make sure the ice water doesn’t come in direct contact with the skin. - Prepare your bed with a clean pillow case and try to sleep slightly elevated for the first few nights to avoid and reduce swelling. DAY 2-6: Always keep a very thing layer of healing balm provided on your lips throughout the day. Gently rinse the treated area with cold water AM/PM and immediately after a meal. Always pat dry with paper towel and reapply healing ointment. After day 7 if scabs have fallen off you can go back to wash your lips in the shower normally. DAY 10: Apply lip balm with sunscreen. You can purchase Aquaphor lip balm sunscreen or your favorite brand. IMPORTANT THINGS TO AVOID 10+ DAYS DURING HEALING PHASE: - If you do get fever blisters do not add any medications to the lip tissue or you can pull the color out of the tissue. - DON’T apply any makeup or cosmetics around or on the lips for 14 days. ​ - Avoid hot steamy showers, cleansing, soap, moisturizer, oil, creams or sunscreen on the treated area for 7 days. - DON’T swim or submerge face in fresh, salt, chlorinated water, hot tub, jacuzzi, sauna and avoid steamy showers for 10 days. - DON’T exercise go intense training for 10 days. Heavy sweating will push pigment out. Moderate training should be fine. - DON’T have dirt or dust to have contact with your eyebrows and you must avoid gardening for the next 10 days. - DON’T lick, bite, pick or scrub the lips, allow it to flake off by itself to avoid disrupting the healing process and or scarring. - DON’T use whitening toothpaste. This can effect the retention and will cause the lips to dry and become temporarily white. - DON’T eat spicy, salty foods or drink anything too hot. They’ll sting. Cut food into small bites to prevent over stretching the lips. - DON'T drink out of a straw and avoid fluids that stain like coffee, wine, sauce sauce and so on to directly touch your lips. - DON’T drink alcohol or smoke. It’ll sting and dry out your lips further. - DON’T get any facials, botox, fillers, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks. Harsh ingredients will irritate the skin, and disrupt the pigment from settling properly. Don’t apply any other products on your brows other than the aftercare provided. - The hardest part of lip blushing is absolutely no kissing for 7 days. WHAT TO EXPECT: - The color of your lips is very intense. You may love it, or you may feel like it’s too much – either way, that’s not the true shade the pigments will have. The color will fade significantly over the next few days, and your lip tattoo will look 40-50% lighter once the 6 weeks have passed. ​ - The feeling of burning on the tissue is normal and will normally stop in the next 3 days. Bruising on the inside of the lips is normal. On day 2 less swelling, more tenderness and a lot o dryness. Day 3 and 4 lips will have heavy peeling and dryness. Days 5-10 some more minor peeling and color ghosting. Healing can take 2-4 weeks depending on health conditions or fever blisters break out. ​ - Your Top-Up session has been booked 6 weeks from today. This session will be complimentary as long is concluded 6-8 weeks following your first session. If your TOP-UP session is scheduled after 8 weeks, it is no longer complimentary and will incur an additional charge at the customary YEARLY COLOR BOOST rate. Due to the personalized nature of our treatments, our studio operates by appointment only. This policy ensures we can adequately prepare and reserve the necessary time exclusively for you. We appreciate your understanding and compliance with our policy. ​ ALL BOOKINGS: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit is transferable to reschedule your appointment once, provided we receive a minimum of 7 days notice. It is not transferable to another person. If you cancel your appointment at any time, the deposit is forfeited. Deposit is credited toward your final balance if you attend your appointment; otherwise, it is non-refundable. Cash is our preferred payment method. Debit and credit card payments are accepted with a 6.35% processing fee. CONVERSION CLIENTS | COVER UP PREVIOUSLY TATTOOED BROWS: You must send pictures before booking, or you risk not being serviced. This applies to cover-up options for previous work such as microblading, powder brows, or old tattoos. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time; arriving 15 minutes early is not necessary. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their appointment and deposit. A 50% service charge will apply, and a new deposit will be required to reschedule. This policy allows us to maintain a smooth schedule and provide the same level of care and attention to every client. GUESTS AND PROCEDURE AREA: While guests are welcome to stay during consultations, they are not allowed in the procedure room due to the nature of our services. To maintain our studio’s exclusive atmosphere clean and safe, only clients are permitted in the procedure room. Guests may wait in our reception area or explore nearby Greenwich Avenue shops. NO CHILDREN UNDER 18 Children are not allowed in the studio. If you arrive with children, we will kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment. Additionally, please remember to bring a government-issued photo ID. ​ NO USE OF CELL PHONE During the procedure, we kindly ask that you keep your cell phone and electronic devices on silent mode and away from the procedure area. ​ FOLLOW-UP SESSION ( Perfecting Session):Many clients achieve beautiful healed results after their initial appointment and do not require a follow-up when proper pre-care and aftercare instructions are followed. We include one complimentary follow-up session with your initial procedure, as long as it is completed within the recommended 6–12 week timeframe after your appointment.​Appointments requested after 12 weeks are considered a Yearly Color Boost and are no longer eligible as a complimentary enhancement session.​This session is intended to touch-up refine and perfect the original work created during your first appointment. We will only adjust the areas originally designed and treated that require a color touch-up or minor refinement. Any requests to modify or add areas outside of the original design will be considered a new treatment and will be charged accordingly. If refinements are desired, please remember to follow pre-care and aftercare instructions and allow proper time in your schedule to complete this session. This appoinemtn follows the same healing process as your initial procedure, and the post-care cycle must be completed to achieve the best possible healed results.​Please note that this one-time complimentary follow-up session is scheduled on the same day as your initial appointment. If it is not scheduled at that time, the client is responsible for contacting the studio at 203-444-6303 to arrange the follow-up appointment within the recommended timeframe. ​ ENHANCEMENT SESSION: After your treatment has fully healed, if you feel your skin has retained less pigment than expected, an additional Enhancement Session may be considered. Permanent makeup is performed on living skin, and every client heals and retains pigment differently. Our approach is intentionally soft and refined, with the goal of enhancing your natural features rather than creating an overly saturated or heavy result. For this reason, we do not recommend excessive pigment implantation simply to create a darker appearance. If additional pigment or minor refinement is appropriate once healing is complete, an Enhancement Session may be scheduled. This session is intended to touch up, refine, and perfect the original work created during your previous appointment. Adjustments are limited to the areas originally designed and treated that may require additional color or minor refinement. Any request to change the original design or add new areas will be considered a new treatment and charged accordingly. The Enhancement Session may be scheduled no sooner than 6 weeks after your Perfecting Session and no later than 16 weeks. After the 16-week window, the appointment will no longer qualify as an Enhancement Session and will be scheduled at the studio’s applicable Color Boost or Maintenance rate. Please note that the Enhancement Session is not complimentary and will be charged according to the studio’s current Enhancement Session rate. The same pre-care and aftercare requirements apply. Please plan accordingly, as the treated area will go through the same healing process and post-care cycle as your previous treatment. PRE-CARE & AFTER-CARE: Clients must follow pre-care and after-care instructions before undergoing a treatment. These steps are crucial to achieving the best healed results. Results will vary from client to client, and we cannot guarantee your results. If you cannot fulfill the proper pre-care and post-care instructions, please plan your appointment for a later date. Improper preparation and care will lead to poor results that we cannot fix, and you will be subjected to cancellation fees or declining of all future appointment requests. BROW TATTOO CORRECTION OR LIGHTENING SESSION FROM OTHER STUDIO/ARTIST: We are extremely selective when working over existing tattoos from other tattoo artists. HEALED RESULTS: Permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing performed on living skin. Because every person heals and retains pigment differently, healed results will naturally vary from client to client. GUARANTEES:At Dúnia Ghabour Beauty Atelier, every step of your treatment is thoughtfully considered with the goal of providing the best possible healed result.Even when every technical step is performed with great care, permanent makeup is still performed on living skin. For this reason, exact pigment retention, final color, longevity, and a specific healed result cannot be guaranteed. Following all applicable pre-care instructions before your treatment and aftercare instructions during the healing process is essential, as both play an important role in healing, pigment retention, and the quality of your final result. LONG-TERM CARE: Apply sunscreen SPF 40 or higher daily directly on top of your cosmetic tattoo to aid the longevity of the treatment. A yearly touch-up is recommended to keep your cosmetic tattoo looking its best. Do not apply products containing Alpha Hydroxyls (AHA’s), Retin-A, Salicylic, Lactic or Glycolic Acids, Benzoyl Peroxide, Proactiv, or bleaching/lightening creams to the eyebrows. If you are planning a chemical peel, laser procedure, or an MRI scan, inform the technician of your permanent cosmetics. NO REFUNDS/NO EXCHANGE/NO TRANSFERABLE: All treatments, services, and products are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable, especially if services have been booked or treatments have been initiated. Bringing reference photos of your desired brow shape is highly recommended and greatly appreciated.
